Who is a good candidate for Microblading?
Microblading is an ideal solution for clients who have patchy, thin, or uneven eyebrows and are looking for the most natural looking results.
However, not everyone is a candidate for microblading and there are different elements to consider such as skin condition and health.
Microblading is most suitable for clients with normal skin and small pores. Oil in the skin can cause the Microblading hair-stroke to expand and blur so the less oily the client skin is, the better the result would be.
If the client has very oily skin, we would recommend Shading with a machine.
PLEASE AVOID THE FOLLOWING FOR THE NEXT 10 – 14 DAYS AFTER YOUR MICROBLADING APPOINTMENT:
- Please do not itch the brow area or pull any scabs
- Scented soaps and lotions
- Saunas
- Hot yoga
- Sleeping on your stomach or side
- Facial Massage
- SPF (until fully healed)
- Coconut Oil
- Petroleum or Vaseline
- Heavy sweating at the gym (sweat formed on brows can fade your healing color)
- Tanning
- Makeup on brow area until fully healed
- Picking a scabs if any appear
- Swimming (pool chemicals can erode healing color)
- Outdoor activities such as gardening or golf can be resumed as long as treatment area remains clean, dry and out of the sun.
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a form of a cosmetic tattooing using pigments. It is performed by using a manual disposable, handheld tool. This disposable tool is composed of very fine needles resembling the shape of a blade (called a microblade) to implant pigment into the skin, creating a hair-like stroke.
Microblading is meant to simulate the client’s natural eyebrows hairs and seamlessly blend it with the client existing brows to add color and fullness resulting in a very natural look.
Ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their own brows. The results are natural looking hair-like strokes that lasts up to 2 years in the skin.

Post Microblading
A list of instructions and aftercare ointment/cream will be given the day of the appointment.
Following the proper aftercare after the treatment is of great importance. If aftercare is not followed, it can result in losing up to 80% of drawn strokes.
Everyone’s skin heals differently and most clients develop patchy areas or the appearance of fading after the first application.
There is no downtime associated with this treatment. Redness and swelling will dissipate within an hour after.
It is important to understand that this is a two part process and a touch up application is needed to complete the brows. Please be patient.
